Clinical Supervisor – IHBTC

Community Services - Lowell

Salary Range: $75,000.00+/year + $5,000.00 sign on bonus (paid in 5 months).

What you will do:  

  • Provide supervision to Clinicians, Youth and Family Support Workers, and clinical interns providing intensive community-based, wraparound services to children, adolescents, young adults and their families referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Department of Mental Health (DMH), and/or insurance. 
  • The Clinical Supervisor also provides direct community-based services to a small caseload of children and families according to the requirements of the program.  
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the child, parents, and other providers to ensure close collaboration and coordination of care.  
  • The Clinical Supervisor is part of the on-call team providing phone and in person crisis intervention and will provide clinical support to all staff and families involved with the program 
  • The Clinical Supervisor is part of the larger management team at the site and will be part of agency committees including, but not limited to, Utilization Review and Clinical Risk.  
  • The Clinical Supervisor will be involved in all aspects of hiring and training of program staff.

  • Ability to highlight and validate strengths in clinicians. 
  • Strong communication skills –both written and verbal 
  • Assess, manage, and adapt to competing priorities.  
  • Provide leadership and support clinical growth in core competencies.  
Minimum Requirements:  
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or other related human service field. 
  • Independent license in LMHC, LMFT or LICSW. 
  • At least 2 years of experience working with youth with behavioral health needs. 
  • Candidate must have a valid driver's license and a reliable automobile.  
We will train you in: Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC); Trauma Informed Practice; Substance Use Intervention; Risk and Safety Assessment.
